Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Yapr (the "Service") is operated by Yapr ("Yapr", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Yapr provides an AI-powered chatbot platform that allows users to create, customize, and deploy chatbots on their websites. The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available," and we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard and will keep access through the end of the current billing period. We offer a full refund of your most recent payment if you request one within 14 days of that charge and have not substantially used the Service during that period (for example, by sending a large volume of conversations). Contact support@getyapr.com to request a refund. Outside that window, payments are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any laws; (b) transmit spam, malware, or harmful content; (c) impersonate others; (d) interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to circumvent usage limits; (e) build chatbots designed to deceive or harm users; or (f) deploy a chatbot in a context where an inaccurate AI response could foreseeably cause physical, financial, legal, or serious emotional harm (for example, medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or crisis settings) without appropriate human oversight and disclaimers.

6. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence (currently Anthropic's Claude) to generate chatbot responses. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate, and may not reflect your business's actual policies. It is provided for general informational purposes only and is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. As the operator of a chatbot, you are responsible for the information you supply it, for reviewing its configuration and conversation logs, and for any decisions made in reliance on its output. End users should not rely on chatbot responses as a substitute for professional advice.

7. Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Yapr a license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the legality of content you upload and for having the rights and any necessary consents to the information your chatbot collects from end users. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your dashboard settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yapr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any damages arising from AI-generated output or your reliance on it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before bringing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@getyapr.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Yapr agree that it will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, conducted in Minnesota, rather than in court — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. To the extent permitted by law, you and Yapr waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Any permitted court proceeding will take place in Minnesota.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
